In this follow up to Jabari Jumps, Jabari tries to make a flying machine all by himself. But he soon learns that sometimes it helps to have a partner, and maybe a little sit down when you get frustrated. Perfect for a STEM story time.

Stem Activity:
Circle Glider Vs. Paper Airplane

The kids will be challenged to make a circle glider and a paper airplane and see which works better. My personal attempts they seemed to work about the same, which is pretty impressive for a couple of circles.
I found instructions here and here.
I had bendy straws that didn’t work ideally so I ended up folding a strip of paper three or four times to make a pretty thick length of paper and then cut it to the same length as the straws.
